Introduction

I was born in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. I moved with my family to Rochester, Michigan just before 1st grade. We moved again when I was finished with 4th grade (all of these moves were due my dad’s job). I spent the next eight years in Carmel, Indiana. Up to this point… my life almost sounds like a series in prison stints, but I promise it was a typical childhood, besides the fact that I got really good at making new friends.

I went to college in Philadelphia, where I graduated and met my wife. We lived and worked there until she finished her Ph.D and got a job offer in Greensboro, North Carolina. So, we packed up our stuff, our three cats, and our dog to make the next move. When we got here, we adopted a second dog. That’s pretty much my whole life in two paragraphs.

Luckily, there’s more.
